Julie Rousseau (Hasselt, 1985) has practiced employment law since 2009.

She advises and represents employers across the full spectrum of HR‑related law, providing both legal assistance and strategic guidance. Drawing on extensive experience—gained at the bar and as a consultant with a leading HR services provider—she is known for her pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach that aligns closely with client needs. Her particular expertise includes dismissal negotiations, wage optimization and collective labor relations. She also frequently delivers training sessions and webinars on a variety of HR topics.

Julie earned her Master of Laws from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2008 (magna cum laude) and went on to complete an Advanced Master in Social Law at the same university in 2009 (cum laude). Through exchange programs she also studied in Madrid and at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

She began her career at the bar in 2009. From 2019 to 2025 she served as Senior Consultant and Team Lead at Acerta Consult, guiding employers through complex labor and social‑security matters. In May 2025 she returned to the bar as a partner at Littler Belgium.
