Bart Franceus (Bruges, 1988) has been practicing law since 2012. 

He advises international and Belgian companies on all aspects of Belgian and European human resources law. 

Bart’s practice particularly focuses on assisting clients with respect to internal investigations, employee data protection, employment litigation, occupational pensions and the employment-related aspects of strategic business projects and M&A transactions.

He also has extensive experience advising listed companies, financial institutions and insurance companies on corporate and remuneration governance matters.

Before joining Littler Belgium, Bart worked at a Belgian law firm specializing in employment law from 2012 to 2017 and at a global law firm from 2017 to 2025.

Bart holds a law degree from Ghent University (2011) and an LL.M degree from King's College London (2012), as well as a Data Protection Officer certification (2025).

His working languages are Dutch, English, and French.
